This year’s coaching and management team bring together an exciting blend of old-school experience and youthful exuberance. It is also the first time that assistant coaches have been appointed under more senior practitioners, positive indication that WP Schools Water Polo is taking skills transfer and sustainability into serious account for the future. Coaches and managers will be involved in off-season training to ensure they are up for the challenge at this year’s premier age-group tournament.
The 2018 iteration of the IPT will take place in East London from 13 to 17 December. WP squad sessions will commence early September with trials about two weeks later. Players are encouraged to participate in some form of off-season training in preparation for trials. More details will be made available in due course.
