U13 boys’ trials on 15 October
The water polo trials for U13 boys’ will be taking place at Reddam Tokai from 12h00 to 14h00 on Sunday 15 October. The team will be selected and players and parents notified on the day.
Squad training sessions have been underway for some time and the last of these will take place this Sunday at Reddam from 16h00 to 18h00.
A group of about 40 players participating in the SACS tournament (12 to 14 October) will be invited to trials on Sunday 15 October. Players from schools that do not participate in the SACS tournament, and who have attended at least one squad session, may also attend trials on the Sunday. Players who have not attended any U13 squad sessions and who are not participating in the SACS tournament are not eligible for trials.
Players selected to attend trials will be required to complete a trial registration form, many will have already completed the online registration. If not, please click on the link to download a hard copy [here].
All players attending trials will be required to bring a certified copy of their passport or birth certificate and a completed WP Aquatics capitation form [click here to download] in the event that they are selected to a team.
Kit orders will be taken at the pool on 15 October and will need to be paid for on the day. Cash and credit card facilities will be available.
The Capping Ceremony for the entire WP Inter-Provincial Team will take place at SACS High School, Hofmeyr Hall on Tuesday 17 October 2017. Players must assemble with their coaches at 17h45 and guests are to be seated by 18h10, the ceremony starts at 18h15. Seating is limited so parents and family are encouraged to arrive early.
