Reddam House affirmed their status as one of the country’s water polo powerhouses when they took five gold medals at the annual WPSWP Knock-out Competition hosted by SACS and Westerford on 11 March.
SACS and Westerford hosted the 2020 iteration of the Western Province Schools’ Water Polo Knock-out Competition featuring boys’ and girls’ teams from U13 through to U19, culminating in the semi- and finals on Wednesday 11 March.
The event features girls and boys from U13 through to U19 and marks the end of the first term’s water polo season.

The finals all took place at SACS lower pool and the event attracted several hundred spectators. Adding to the occasion was a massive full colour screen showing live action as well as highlights from the game, a highly professional service provided by Schools’ Sports Live and streamed live on DStv Now and You Tube.
Water polo in the province takes a back seat to the traditional winter sports until September when training starts again in preparation for the annual inter-provincial tournament to be hosted in Cape Town this year.
