TOURNAMENT RULES
- All matches will take place in a Half sized Water polo pool
- The Tournament will follow a round robin format where each team will play every other team (12 games)
- 2 points will be allocated for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss
- If teams have equal points, the results of their round robin matches will determine their final position.
If they are still even, “goals for” will be taken into account between those teams (FINA rules)
- Pool games will be followed by Semi finals and Finals
- Matches will be 2 chukkas of 8 minutes running time, with only 2 minutes between chukkas
- Teams will change sides at half time which will be 2 minutes long
- There will be no Time Outs
- There will be no warm up time in the Water polo pool area, only in the small side lane
- Teams are to be ready to start games on time
- A centralised clock will display running time and each pool will run a 30 second possession clock
- Teams listed with Blue Caps are to start on the Rugby field side of the pool
- Neutral referees will be provided
- Matches will be played according to FINA rules except for Time out rules and playing time.
The final points position, excluding the visiting schools, will be used to determine the WP Schools U13 Girls Finalists
